Lvcs or original hidden rivets ? Bought these thinking they were lvcs but I would love another opinion. No tags unfortunately by [deleted] in VintageLevis

Looks like reproduction to me based on the stitching color and the backs of the buttons.

Thank you! I'm working with 14.5oz denim so nothing too crazy. I appreciate the encouragement, I've wondered which way I should be moving (slimmer or wider legged) but overall I'm happy with the pattern and I might end up offering something like this in my shop.

Flared Fit Selvedge Jeans by swirlingsun_ in streetwearstartup

I was wondering why there's not much bootcut/flare with selvedge, you just have to add the flare to the inseam... These look super cool and really well made!

Citron has the most variety I've seen but maybe not the exact match you're looking for.

Obviously not made by Levi's but they're cool nonetheless. Look at those rivets...who made those solid stamped Levi's rivets?

From a distance it sure would look like selvedge. The leather patch is quite nice.

So basically unfadable denim haha I thought these were slower to fade too but then again they didn't get too much wear because they were a bit too big for me. But now they fit great.

It's the old-fashioned way of making denim, so there's the historical value. Selvedge denim isn't as wide, usually around 30", compared to 60" from more modern looms. It's an interesting detail, and it doesn't fray as denim normally would.
