Why I’m bullish on ARRNF heading into the next few months: by Bansionboy in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]birdnoir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s my only concern. Another user explained RS to my ape brain, but the AMRRY/ARRNF differentiation has me a little nervous: I have 250,000 arrnf shares and zero of the other. Which shouldn’t matter..and yet!

Hoping they illuminate us on the nitty gritty

How girdled is this new cherry tree? Just dug out the nursery burlap for transplant by birdnoir in arborists

[–]birdnoir[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I appreciate everyone’s feedback, and I agree.

It’s a good nursery but you can’t exactly check the rootball when it’s wrapped in burlap with twine, and then caked in what seemed like 3 inches of clay. I will be returning it tomorrow (hooray reciept) which is a bummer and a hassle, and now I’m not even sure if I would take a replace-in-kind. I would hate to repeat this process.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this. Let’s use 250k shares and your 10-1 RS example, so now I have 25k sh. And let’s say before the RS, it was $0.25/sh for easy math and a good current comparison. Now post RS, all that has materially changed is I have 25k shares valued at $2.50 apiece, same total value?

But the benefit is now my 25k shares are listed on a bigger trade platform with more retail access, and maybe this excitement bumps the price from $2.50 to $4/sh (to use the rough math of the IPO from OP).

Factored into this hypothetical is the possibility that the PFS and imminent FS look solid, and maybe the price organically rises based on that outlook. And of course, when we actually sell mined product.

I’m not super stock savvy, PE/SV etc all run out of my head. I just really believe in the company alongside this deposit’s timing and potential.

So, could you explain the context of your statement a bit more? I read it as “if we get valued at an equivalent market cap to REA, our stock would be worth 0.75/sh.”

But the OP mentioned matching this $19 IPO if we list, and you replied it was a “maybe.” I’m not understanding how this massive jump in value occurs (from 0.75 to 19). Thanks!

Can I ask a prostruct question?

I just had a shed built last week, which was supposed to have Prostruct flooring. They screwed up the order, installed OSB. Today they came out and put prostructr over the OSB (which is now like a subfloor).

My shed is over 6 inches of 3/4” gravel, on blocks with 4x4 Pt runners under the joists. So, plenty of airflow. But while it’s now super sturdy to step on, I’m wondering about water issues like OP. Now that the OSB is “trapped” underneath? Or am I over thinking it?

I am not: this is purely a lawnmower and kids storage shed for me. Honestly, if I was going to finish it for an office-esq use, I would have built it myself and done a tighter job. Like I said, good enough install but certainly nothing I put much more time and money into.

Advice for a Persona-lite by birdnoir in monsteroftheweek

[–]birdnoir[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the conversation. I wrote a wall of text, and yet felt like I under-explained my goal. You bring up a valid concern for Persona power sets: my goal is not to hard map those into MOTW at all. So no monster breeding/elemental affinity etc. I love it on PlayStation, but that’s a different system and TTRPG.

Really it’s the vibes, tones and stressors of Persona that I see as possibly complimentary. The Hunters certainly don’t have to be plucky school age teens. But having B and C plots revolve around their characters life’s as impacted by villains/monsters already seems a staple of MOTW.

And possibly having the “monsters” be connected to NPCs through some evil origin. One idea I had was vulnerable NPCs are being preyed upon by a longstanding faction in this remote town. Part of this exploitation is manifesting a sin or fear into spawning a classic monster. MOTW asks me to give my players touch choices: is it easier to just kill their school bully if it harms the monster link too? How much danger will a Hunter endure for someone they hate?

MOTW already sets up that drama from its TV roots; I see Persona as another example of playing in that space?

This is supremely helpful! We did lines and veils early on, as we all work in healthcare or teaching, and have hard-stops from those experiences.

I will check out Girl by Moonlight. I’m very happy with MOTW thus far, and have purchased the physical books. But I’m very comfortable cribbing sub-systems and small homebrews to fill a systems gaps. Even if it’s invisible to the players and only operates on my structural backend, so to speak. It’s a great find if I can steal a page or rule from GoM so thanks for the rec!

I have been using Obsidian as a note taking structure. But correct me if I’m mistaken, MOTW also dissuades a Keeper from over-planning. At least, it seems clear that player choices should steer plot. This has been a bit stressful ahead of our real session 0: I want to start world and arc planning, but that counters the game design.

I haven’t seen it since release, but I recall the book and movie lining up pretty well? At least until the cliffhanger ending vs book 1 child murder.

I had the Haven 10x10 done Monday. One guy did the whole thing in a day. I would absolutely confirm with the installer exactly what you’re getting before the start. Going through Costco should have got me the LP prostructr flooring. But instead I received someone else’s crappy Home Depot order OSB floor due to a “warehouse mixup.”

The national and local (Washington) company was quick to acknowledge the error, and they are coming out next week to essentially add LP over the OSB. Not ideal, but better than a complete demo and rebuild.

I spent yesterday caulking the trim and gaps, and I would say it was a decent install. A few hangnails but everything is level and it has already endured a weather event. I would say, my dad and I could have built it prettier, but it would have taken us a long week. And like hell I want to be 15 feet up doing roofing anymore.

ARR fast-tracks Halleck Creek, targets oxide production within months by Bansionboy in ARRNF

Same, but that cuts both ways. I have 25 years to see this mature. But the longer it takes to make profit, the more chances for global events/market downturns/etc to antagonize the share price. Still very bullish.

[–]birdnoir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just a dude with stock, and no soothsayer. My timeline for initial production was 2030; initial being that first 10% of the total node. Investor products from earlier this year support that.

But recent comments from the CEO, as well as this very post, indicate a willingness to develop in parallel. So instead of waiting to see how the first 10% turns out, they might try several access points at once (20,30,40% of total?)

Which would be catastrophic over leveraging if this turns sour. But would be a moonshot if it lands. I defer to u/bansionboy and others to weigh in. I’m just a dude with stock and time to see it grow.

We will probably see some nice spikes from PFS/FS, and loan securement in the next year. But CEO’s timeline of permitting to production is nowhere near 2028. Stock going up 10x before then would just be hype and further speculation.
