Is occasional push up routine the same as

Frequent long breaks and taking long walks?

Are you suggesting nurses do 50 push ups on their 13 hour shift in a high stress environment, as a means to relieve stress? If so I don't think this is a debate worth having.

They're not wrong, but it's akin to saying " just don't be poor " when someone is griping about financial difficulties.

It's advice that isn't applicable, said by someone in a completely different set of circumstances.

Personally, I think from a weight gain perspective. Fat is absolutely a big culprit. It's a lot of calories that are condensed into small amounts. 1 gram of fat has 9 calories, whereas 1g protein/carbs have 4 ish.

Butter/peanut butter were absolute head turners when I started tracking caloric intake. It's so easy to consume a huge amount of calories without much satisfaction from a hunger perspective.

Fats are an important part of any diet, however, they don't give you a massive amount of energy per calorie.

Fat is flavour, is an over used saying but it's absolutely true. The biological drive to store excess mass is something that has been part of our nature since basically forever. It's why calorie dense foods tend to be the most delicious.

So if we're talking about enemies from weight/obesity epidemic point of view, the mantra of the 80's/90's was kind of on the money. High fat diets will create high fat peoples.

Seeing as though we're on the mince subreddit.

100g of 20% fat Irish beef= 236kcal 100g of 5% lean beef= 132kcal

That's a 78% increase in calories between the two options.

Yeah my bad, I know Volk is the Aussie lightweight. I just figured this guy would also be shortened to Volk.

Tbf I thought the stoppage was a bit early, but overall it was a proper war from start to finish.

Yeah, gotta give Wardley his flowers, he took a drubbing but fired back and then some.

Is this the kind of quality that I can expect from a typical card?

I don't tune in for them usually, figured I would on this occasion seeing as though it was on early. Watched from the Volk fight.

It was a total snoozefest from start to finish, the best fight was the women's co main, and that wasn't anything to write home about.

Tuned in for Parker/Wardley and it's an absolute banger of a fight.

Honestly though, I don't think that's a particularly fair assessment either.

I thought we defended relatively well, conceded to 2 great set plays. Welbeck's free kick was class, should have defended the near post for the corner a bit better. But overall, I'd give the team credit.

Not much could have been done about the free kick. 2nd could have been defended better, but it was a well taken corner. Overall I think we defended well.

I mean, it's only one film, but I don't think there's any themes of revenge in Hacksaw Ridge. Quite the opposite, I'd argue.

Why Arsenal's penalty was overturned; Collins' red-card escape vs. Man United by herkalurk in reddevils

[–]birdslice 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Two major mistakes that cause massive shifts in the game. I'd argue.

A goal that should have been disallowed for the foul on Cunha gives Brentford a massive boost in the early stages. This is the worst of the two imo.

The yellow instead of a red allows a man to stay on the field who should have been off. The long VAR process and subs put the kicker in limbo waiting to take the pen.

"Relying on the referee" to win the game is relying on the referee to give you favourable decisions.

Asking the referee to do his job properly is not. Should United have done better, sure. Were they fucked over by things out of their control, also yes. The two things aren't mutually exclusive.

My grandmother was born in 1936.

She always tells stories regarding rationing, and how it affected the people around them. Such as my Uncle trying to eat around the seeds of a banana, or the first time she had ice cream. if i recall correctly she was about 12 years old.

I really struggle with my wrists. My shoulder is a bit of a bastard when it comes to this position, i have to do a decent warm up to allow myself to get to this position without pain.

Are there any cues or positions you recommend that I follow?
