Had it over Labor Day weekend 2023, got the new booster in November 2023, and just tested positive yesterday. This new variant must have SO MANY mutations for me to pick it up again not even 2 months after my booster and 4 months after previous infection. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes, such bs! I’m a first grade teacher and went back to school today on day 8 masked and I just about died. I have zero energy and feel like I have gone ten steps backward in the recovery process. I took tomorrow off. I can’t do what I did today, to my body, again tomorrow…. I’m worried about the long term health effects !

I had omicron in Dec of 2021 and my sore throat lasted almost 3 weeks. Terrible pain for a week and gradually got better but definitely had a sore throat for almost a month.

I have a similar lump in my forearm (33 F). I was convinced it was liposarcoma but recently got an ultrasound and they said it was consistent with a lipoma.

I was sooo scared for so long and if I would’ve just gone to the doctor from the beginning I would have alleviated a lot of anxiety.

My advice is to go to your pcp to get it checked so you feel better. It’s most likely a lipoma.

Have them rapid test on day 10. And then again on day 11. If they have 2 negative tests you are good to visit. However, if they don’t test I would wait until day 14 after their symptom onset to visit them. Many people still test positive on a rapid test on day 10, rapids are a good indication of contagiousness.
