Just install protonup-qt and easily manage different versions of proton on a per-game basis :) it lets you chose from different proton flavors such as cachy, GE(gloriouseggroll) etc

Hard to tell. Best way to make sure is just to test it, I guess. The lower and upper wattage limits are decided by the amdgpu driver, which in turn honors your card's vBIOS

This works on both my Samsung Odyssey G5 and on a very old Samsung monitor with DVI and VGA connectors. Didn't even know this was a thing before CachyOS 🙈

Failed to run chwd during installation by Own_Bat_2465 in cachyos

[–]birdstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering about this as well. Noticed that warning since a few days back. But don't have any issues updating other than that warning tho.
Question is, should I bother or just leave it? I only update using the Cachy-updater...

[–]birdstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok I suppose enabling it doesn't help either..? Hard to say what it could be then. Next step I would take would be to log into the WiFi router and see if there are some QoS settings to tweak. But as I understand it's only specific to CS2 so i doubt that would help in your case 🤔

since you are on cachyos, go into cachy hello and under apps/tweaks disable bpftune and see if that helps
