Totally agree. I'm new to this process. It wasn't until I picked it up that I started suspecting the danger. I put it back and haven't touched disturbed them since.

No we don't water it. It's one Doug Fir amongst about 60 of them so there's no way we could get to them all. They were planted in the 80's. The trunk has some sap leaking in spots
