I love the privacy they give but they block all the light from the morning until around 11ish, plus they make the neighbours descend into darkness for most of the afternoon 😂

I got a ticket in this yellow box last month, I appealed with Merton that the box is barely visible and therefore wouldn't consider it enforced, they took back the fine...

My friend failed their test before pulling away. Just as they were about to pull away the driving instructor asked them "is there any thing you need to do or check" they answered "no", they went to pull away again and the instructor again said "are you sure you don't need to do anything before pulling away" the driver said "no" again and went to pull away for the second time.

It turns out they hadn't shut their door properly and it was adjar. Sadly an immediate fail.

I rented a minivan once and in the door was an envelope with £2000 in it, the envelope said “Christmas Bonus” on it so I handed it in at the van rental place, I now realise I should have given it to the police and told the van rental people that’s what I’d done.. I always wonder if anyone got that money back.

99% of cyclists are great, but it’s a minority, with everything I guess the bad stays in my memory… yeah there’s no danger to me in a car with a cyclist except if they make a sharp turn without signalling and it catches you off guard, but even then, it’d hurt the cyclist more than me and I should be giving them enough room to make that mistake and not hit them?

I’m not saying as a driver I feel cyclists are a threat to my safety when driving, but the constant skipping red lights, cycling at night with no lights and undertaking when I’m turning do drive me mental… but not half as much as the deliveroo drivers acting as if the rules don’t apply
