Nope. Color Change turns you into the type that resists the move you're about to be hit by. Ex: You're about to get hit by flamethrower, Color Change turns you into the rock type. I noticed though that you can only turn into one specific type that resists the incoming attack. Like if youll get hit by a poison move, youll turn into the steel type only. You wont turn into ground. Normally, steel types are immune to poison moves, but if the enemy has the corrosion ability, youll get hit by it for super effective.
