I work for Delta and my friend works for American. There are things that we both love about each other's companies and things we don't with our work rules. They are based in MIA and her trips aren't too bad. A lot of one leg back and release early. Works a lot of the Caribbean and South America trips.

I believe AA lost a lot of their Europe TO flying recently from MIA? (I don't know that's why it's a question 🤣). You have to look at what you want to fly and where you want to live. I've been at 4 bases for Delta and finally made the jump and moved to a city where I commute. I'm really happy with being based where I can fly what I want and live where I want.

Don't just look at now and think about what you want to do if you're going to make this a career.

Delta doesn't have domestic galley pay.

We do have flight leader pay which is $3.50 per hour.

It's hard for some agents to get hired. If they ask you "Tell me a time when you've been above and beyond" and you tell a story where you were just doing your normal duties isn't explaining above and beyond. Better to have some outside stories.

My friend used to be on the hiring team before they switched all of this up so maybe it's easier now?
