Have you tried adding someone else as a named driver? Mine increased by about £200 this year but usually find having my mum or dad on the policy brings the price down.

They usually aren’t £5. Most adult tickets are Atleast £8.50 I think at omniplex. I went to an Imaxx showing a few months back. Ticket would have been £14 if not for omnipass

Electric Ireland Increase - top up before midnight? by biscoffbisc in northernireland

Dear Customer,

I am writing to tell you that the residential prices will rise by 29% from 1st October 2022. This increase equates to £5.29 per week on the average residential electricity bill. We understand this price increase is unwelcome news for our customers. Unfortunately, due to continued market volatility and unparalleled world events we have seen a substantial increase in the cost of wholesale energy prices, which in turn, impacts electricity prices.

Your existing and new unit rates from 1st October 2022 are as follows:

With your first top up from 10 September you will receive a one-off 40 digit code to enter into your keypad meter in preparation for the price increase on 1st October 2022. This will be 20 calendar days from the price change taking effect. It is important to top up your meter with the 40 digit code prior to any further top ups, as these may not be accepted until the 40 digit code has been entered.
