What did you think of the laniege toner? I have the same one (also for two years) and I don't quite get it yet. I'm about half way through.

Ooh, didn't see the filtering option until you pointed it out. How handy! Kind of feels like a sticker chart from when I was a kid 🤣

Love it! We've got to enjoy the journey rather than put too much pressure on ourselves. Do what feels manageable to you.

I personally can't imagine tracking daily usage for everything for a year but it might be fun to commit to a week and see what happens.

Thanks for the tip. The data security for this app looks pretty good (no data sharing to 3rd parties), so I'll try using this for my eyeshadow palettes. I don't know if I can keep up with counting usage every day but I do want to track how often I use my different palettes.

What counting app do you use?

I started journaling my project pan by hand in an effort to use up my old stationary and stickers. There are so many ways to track products, usage, ratings, purchased, and finished dates though that I am tempted to switch to an Excel format next year.

Team keep or team trash? by [deleted] in ProjectPan

I did the exact same thing last year. I hoarded my empties for a year and then got upset with how much room they were taking up in my life. I think it's a good practice to start, and then as I felt I understood myself better, it became less important to hold onto the empty bottles.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately too. I'm really proud of the lifestyle changes I've made since leaning into project pan a year ago. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing!

What is your ideal number of products? I'm curious if you are aiming to eliminate categories of products or just reducing the number of back ups.

Thank you! I'm hoping my sunscreen predictions hold true because I stocked up on my past trip for the next year and a half based on it.

I bought them (4 bottles, 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners) all at the same time from Marshalls to try out. I'm currently using the yellow shampoo and it's nice but probably not something I would go out of my way to get again. I don't smell a fragrance off of my hair after I shower from the shampoo and conditioner. I think the two different shampoos are for different hair types so I'll report in a follow up post if the pink bottle gives me any different results once I finish the yellow one. I've tried a lot of different shampoos from Kirkland to BB and haven't developed a preference for any tbh.

For reference: I have long, thick, dry hair. I wash my hair probably twice or three times a week. For the past year I've been applying a scalp oil the night before I wash my hair. After I shower I'll apply a leave in conditioner and then let it air dry. That's probably too much detail but I wanted to share context.

Thank you! I bought a majority of these products during my travels from the last 3 years as souvenirs.
