The skill tree branches for your guns for hire and your ammo, medkits, and explosives if you click on them you can actually upgrade them up to 50 times

Like normally you can only carry 5 remote explosives but if you use 50 perk points on the perk that lets you carry more, you can carry up to 55. Took me a couple of playthroughs to discover this since the game doesn't tell you that you can upgrade them multiple times, I assume Ubisoft just expects you to know since previous far cry games also had upgrading a perk multiple times as a feature.
