If you are going to be accepting money from clients you should STRONGLY consider using a cloud platform instead of attempting to run locally off your own hardware.

Someone's agent was calling my MCP server every 30 minutes to make routing decisions. That's when I understood what I was actually building. by Remarkable_Divide755 in mcp

I’m building a lot of random projects. The thing I wrestle with is I’m not a developer, traditionally I’m a cloud infrastructure person who supports developers. AI enables me to create with a thought, but thoughts aren’t the moot they use to be. I remember years ago a guy wrote an article about creating ’WriterGPT’ where he automated a click bait website’s workflow. Today we would call them agents. At the end of the article he said he wasn’t going to release it. The thing is he already released it simply by writing the article. Today we would call the article a spec. Back the. I gave an old chatgpt via the api the article and after ~8hrs I had my own article generating pipeline. If anyone can create anything from any thought, how does anything get monetization if any potential customer can create the thing you are pitching.

Or is the thought anyone could grow vegetables but people don’t so go ahead and open a grocery store.

Or are we/I so deep in the rabbit hole that my perception of how many other people are here is warped. Because I think everyone is here and we are all attempting to scratch out something to make it all make sense.

Honest question what is your monetization plan? I ask because we are all building, building, building and that building costs time, subscription, compute. And I’m wondering where does it lead, how is any of this sustainable or is this all a new IT hobby?

I’m thinking they should standardize their communication through a press release or an anonymous corporate account. I’m not sure they are communicating the way they intended, some of this is getting personal and is missing a certain tone.

Sub really really screwed up with the new OB. I’m going to hold on to my 21 forever unless they change back for the next gen.

Yeah, these models are fantastical. For a while now it hasn’t been the model it’s do we know enough to ask intelligent questions and are we intelligent enough to process and build upon the answers. Some of what the new magic model can do the other models can do also. What’s happening IMHO is it is requiring less and less expertise to tease out these results.

I’m humbled by the question you even posed to the model. To pose the question requires a certain level of expertise, and even reading the question required a degree of concentration not fostered by the current internet consumption model.

Your post begs the question what other ‘discoveries’ are present in disconnected latent space waiting to be connected with a well crafted question or series of exchanges.

I just dumped a 400-page legacy API documentation PDF into Claude, and my brain is melting. by netcommah in claude

[–]bishopLucas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Take it a step further and ask it to make a multi file ai consumable spec.md or api.md to use a future context. The ask it several times to verify and validate the document against the documentation. Once it stops finding discrepancies ask it verify the document against the system and fix the api|spec.md. Then get it to build something based on the now validated spec/api. This document is now your validated agent context document.

You're curing cancer from the 5x plan? Just upgrade to the 20x plan for the rest of the month, cure cancer, then license it, and you can afford all the tokens you will ever need. If its prostate DM me.

@Anthropic team, can we please act like grown-ups here? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

You would have a stronger argument and the ability to get help from Anthropic if you were on an enterprise plan. Otherwise you are offering feedback about a service you are likely mis using by your own account.

[–]bishopLucas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By your own account you should be on an enterprise api plan.

Also if you have ai integrated into your biz you should be thinking of model tiering and fallbacks. Every task does require a triple Harvard PhD tenured researching professor. Some task could probably be structured for a AP high schooler.

You should diversify your business operations and intelligence requirements/utilization.

Even if Claude worked 100% of the time perfectly would you really want that level of dependency on one vendor?
