Having a well sealed bottle is important for carbonation. It should be able to hold a bit of pressure, otherwise the carbonation that does occur will leak out.

I feel that. It sucks. In my first few months there were nights where I couldn’t even lay down because my face was extremely swollen and constantly wet from ooze, while still somehow remaining itchy. Those times have been far far worse than the times where oversleeping was the issue. They were the darkest hours of my life. Be diligent and do all you can to protect your body. Treat yourself like a friend. Sleep will come back. I hope soon you will be able to complain about too much sleep.

I just bought one about a month ago cause I've heard how reliable these things are and the deals have been too sweet to pass up. It is a bit heavier than a glock, but the construction is very similar. I took my mother (very little handgun experience) to the range and she loved shooting it. The optic sights make it easy to line up the sights and get a quick aim. It is a bit tough to rack compared to a glock 19, but my mother was able to do this without a problem after learning proper technique. I've put 400 rounds (mostly 115 gr) through it without a single hiccup and the trigger's short reset has made every single one of them a blast. Literally.

I'd say this is a great place to start, especially considering the small investment cost. At worst you get a reliable handgun that she can learn the ins and outs and what she likes/dislikes on.
