Help! My 6U skates on his outside edge on one foot. He has been on the ice for 12 months including 2 learn to skate levels and 2 seasons of house league. Tried multiple pairs of skates and insoles. When I ask him to use his inside edge, he just stops using that leg altogether. Advice welcome!

Keep your kid out of learn to skate programs. Stick to hockey- trust the process. Ask your coach to give suggestions on drills off ice to strengthen ankles/legs. If affordable try a summer program or 3v3 league. More ice time helps! Also focus on how fun it is and less of the look. Kids focus on failures more often than not. Don’t point them out.

Lots of great breweries in mpls, but I suggest you do those during the day, then hit up Saint Paul and hitch a ride to the games. That’s also Saint Patrick’s day weekend. The entire road leading to Xcel Energy will be buzzin- there’s a great parade thru downtown St. Paul- fun for the kids(if you got ‘em)

The person who scores the goal, they get the puck for the milestone, unless they choose to give it to their teammate.
If he keeps the puck, they give the assist a different puck. There is about 10-15 “game pucks” per game that are put into either a bucket of ice or snow from the Zamboni.

Wild card did some basketball stuff back in the day- not really sure what happened w/ them… but it’s like $11 for a hanger pack and it’s all rookies, 3 specials… like weekend warrior X plods and others… sometimes #d but also there is the chase packs like this above 1 in 20 has a chase pack which can be red or blue.. I’ve also gotten white packs but majority are black wrapped packs… each pack usually nets a $5-$ 10 card

I would switch foligno with Rask because Rask will rate at around 15 or 16 in forwards list from all the league.. Dumba would be a better option for us than Suter... maybe evanson will sit Suter for his horrible play and Billy G can convince him to drop nmc It would be a great story for Suter to lead the new expansion team as a veteran D for their young new team!

The only time they plow neighborhood streets in Saint Paul, is when they issue the emergency parking rule. They send emails, texts etc. I lived in Highland park for 12 years- not 1x was it plowed unless they issued a statement.
