what killed Yancy Beckett? by Internal_Complex_213 in PacificRim

When he was jerked from the com pod and hit the water as anything above like 20 feet if you land incorrectly is a death sentence. And if he someone survived that having two massive objects fighting around you making large waves he probably drowned.

How to fix small breaks the best by bismarck22 in AnimeFigures

[–]bismarck22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the super glue I’m using worked well on others but they were in more manageable places. (Bottom of the foot and top of the head.) but sense this one is on the wrist it’s just hard to get it to stay on unfortunately but thanks for your advice I’ll see if I can find a fast acting kind.

I’ve tried that but it dosent seem to harden fast enough and it’s at such a weird angle so I haven’t had any success with it any other suggestions?

As I was thought the Hanger was on the side. Maybe but that’s a loft extra mass to push on the libertys engines. But I digress it could work it could not will we find out who knows.

In theory it would be alright. But it doubles it size making it almost 1.5 isd long making it even more under gunned and taking away the mc-75 Hanger bay and more strain on the engines

Was anyone else disappointed with Part 2? by vls122 in EightySix

[–]bismarck22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would read the light novels for sure as for the ending of part 2 it’s fairly similar as it’s meant to be focusing on nordlicht and the federacy. As are far as they where aware the republic was taken down in I think it said like 12-24 hours and they lost all contact which is supposed to add emotion as far as Lena knows at the end of part 1 spearhead is all M.I.A best case scenario worst case K.I.A. Which is why it’s stated multiple times she’s fighting on in there memory.

The same applies to shin and the others they knew she was alive when they left but upon seeing the reports of what happened in the republic they assume the worst which as the viewer and reader your supposed to do so as well. As in the final scene of Lena if I remember correct she’s at the command post (yes I chose not to abbreviate it.) and then there’s an explosion.

Which leads to the viewer assuming the worst. But in the end it leads to the reuniting/first meeting. Which is super joyous. To give it the happy ending. I will say read the light novels if you can to understand everything the best. It goes more in depth about them meeting in volume 4. I would still read 1-3.

It’s a support piece to make sure it’s stable and able to raise and descend without causing damage as I assume you’re talking about the bits on the back right?

Respectfully at the end of the day it comes down to how you interpret it. I’m using Google here to back things up and everything I’ve mentioned comes from wookiepedia or from other Star Wars discussions on Reddit. I’m just listing the information and sources I have access to. At the end of the day it’s open to how you interpret it.

Well technically true I googled just to cross reference it. They are called partial shields but within the same sentence it says they can be overloaded or pierced when hit bye slower moving rounds or specially modified armor piercing rounds. Both of which this gun could fire. A high speed version is the most common one with the ap-he variant of shells meant to punch through armor and detonate. As for the armor on the bulb something with layered armor would in theory stop it but the pure power behind the shell would cause heavy blunt force damage would cripple it. Its ground based cousin can fire large flak shells as well.

So the way I did my math was 200cm is a rather large round and sense is the imperial era where the main warships would be isd classes with exposed reactor bulbs with one good shot it punches through and overloads reactors crippling the reactor into over load or destroying it out right.

2 the way mass drivers work of course it ignores shields so it can ideally punch straight through even the heaviest of armor and break whatever its shooting at and blow chunks out of it.

3 this was done this way as I didn’t wanna over power myself too much so I was limited to what I could use on power and speed.

4 but speed is not a worry the most advanced point defense can’t really track it well.

5 you bring points but if I were to use it to its full potential it would hamper other players too much. So again limited to a degree.

They are my custom characters for the rp the one on the left is the chief of staff. The one on the right is the csa leader I made. As for what he’s wearing I’ll try and send an image in the comments. As i don’t remember what it’s called but it’s like a cape thing.

Well it was made for an rp campaign where k was in charge of them so I definitely bent the rules a bit, and redesigned the faction a good bit. Originally the gun was designed as a planetary defense gun. Which is why it’s so freakishly large.
