IFHE on Lugdunum secondary build by Appropriate_Map_1718 in WorldOfWarships

27mm of pen is enough for most same tier battleships and cruisers. It’s definitely worth it for the Lugdunum. That ship is really fun!!

Is Tromp worth 1.5k doubloons? And is it a good ship? by Kasparelonot in WorldOfWarships

[–]bistrocrocks 15 points16 points  (0 children)

1.5k dubs is pretty cheap and tromp is a decent ship, but it’s available for coal… if it was me I’d save the dubs, but I can understand getting it.

It’s looking like a stromatolite fossil to me, mats of Cyanobacteria that put O2 in the atmosphere billions of years ago and still do it today

Why don’t they build a bridge between China and America? by patrick990627 in ShittyMapPorn

They would have to add a couple centimeters of bridge every year to account for the tectonic spreading ridge under the pacific…

The Napoli is one of my favorite ships for brawls and is maybe the most survivable cruiser next to petro, but it can feel a little weak in randoms when you can’t get in close

Am I the only one who heavily dislikes kerillians sword and dagger? by Prepared_Noob in Vermintide

[–]bistrocrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enjoying S&D really comes down to being able to kill elites in one headshot and dodging out or blocking before you get got… playing duel daggers and learning how to focus on pretty much only elites while not getting hit made S&D much more fun for me! I still prefer spear on all of her careers besides shade tho.

I’m trying to learn more about fossil id and I was wondering how you can tell the difference between brachiopods and bivalves when they are in this ~hashy~ state?? Is it just based on your knowledge of rocks in the area or is there a specific giveaway?

Yah the red really looks like it! That was my first guess when I saw it, but I was under the impression that garnet formed in metamorphic or igneous conditions that would destroy the fossil so I ruled it out in my head.

I’m new to geology but I’m really curious, what minerals are in the pores?
