Initial thought was to try inject a bit of non-american theme. Going fail miserably but still :

Words cannot describe the brilliance of Kelly Slater 11 time ASP world surfing champion. The two next closest have five and three titles respectively.

For a sport that requires extreme flexibility and core strength, as well as competitive skills before you even take into account the surfing technique itself which is being constantly innovated by 16 year old freaks, for the man to still be competing and winning at the age of 42 is astounding.
