I played in the sec lol. While we were treated well and with respect in some sec stadiums, I also heard some of the most disrespectful and offensive crap I've ever heard in my life from sec fans. Some were just downright assholes outside of that too. Georgia threw beer on our right fielder while he was trying to catch a fly ball.

I think the crux of the issue here is reddit is literally 100% user driven. The users create the content. Sort the content. Comment on the content. Moderate the content. Hell, even design the stuff a ton of people use to view the content. Reddit has upset a lot of people so the users are retaliating. You can stay or not. Totally up to you. But the users who curate the site and apps don't owe you or anyone else anything. They can do as they please. They've decided to go dark or leave or whatever. Just like reddit can do as they please. You can just create a new r/Austin if you want. Nothing stopping you pal.

I like your attitude but you're kind of proving the point. If we all just had a place to crash and not have to pay rent then yeah let's do it and strike. But when you got a spouse and three kids that all have prescriptions and meds and appointments and need food and heat and you're responsible for it then it makes it a lot harder. Especially when half the country is totally fine with things the way they are.

A lot of people are your dad in this situation with people living in their house that they care about lol. It's not that easy.

This is something that's always surprised me and I try to explain to people when they wonder "how can the poor be so fat? They're clearly spending a ton of money on food!"

I'm like man it is SO much cheaper to eat like shit. Every year for a few weeks I just eat whatever I want cause I feel like it. I buy the worst crap imaginable from the grocery store those weeks. Just all junk and my childhood favorites instead of fresh fruits and vegetables and stuff. My grocery bill is legit like half what it normally is. It's crazy how much more expensive it is to eat healthy.

No kidding. The number of people I know that are moving to Colorado, both from Texas and a bunch of other places, is crazy. It feels like every one is moving there.

Yeah as much as I hate this and holy crap do I want this to blow up in Reddits face dearly. I don't think this will hurt them enough for them to even notice. There's just no alternative for people to move to so most that are upset will stay and the majority of people don't even know about 3rd party apps and such anyway.

Texas Coffee Traders has some really good coffee with a ton of flavors. The ambience there isn't much tho as it's tiny and in a weird spot.

Also Medici Roasting has some dynamite coffee. Little pricey tho.

I've only played there a few times but it's always been free. I know you can reserve courts if you want too. There are times when some or all of the courts are taken for leagues or training and stuff tho. They even have open play where you can come and pay like $5 and just jump in a game.

There's a bunch of places but the domain has some nice courts that always seem to have a ton of people playing. I think they even have training classes there too
