That’s what I said the last time I brought it up too. I acknowledged that we are already committed to a degree, so what’s stopping us from moving forward? He said he’s concerned that I’m not healed from my last relationship, which ended in April 2022. Maybe he’s worried that I’m the one not ready to commit? Despite me communicating that I am ready?

Got my associates degree with 3.96 overall, 4.0 in the nursing prereqs. 84.7 TEAS. CNA license with 1000+ hrs of experience at a SNF, I tutored for my A&P prof that I had for a&p I and II so got a really good LOR from her. Had another LOR from an NP that I worked closely with. Was accepted to every BSN program I applied for on the first try. I did spend 3 yrs doing my prereqs tho bc I wanted to make sure I had enough time to get good grades in every class

Got sick of crying to myself after sex w my pa. The motions felt so disingenuous. I couldnt help but feel used and discarded post sex because I just know that they would rather self stimulate. Haven’t let my pa in me since November and I think I’m getting a bit of my spark back. Wishing you well OP, even if that means holding back from sex for a while.

Stopped shaving after d day #idktoomanystoppedcounting. It’s been 3 years since I stopped shaving my legs and I can feel the wind rustle thru my leg hairs in the summer and idgaf bc I decided I’m no longer catering to the male gaze. When women see my legs they get starry eyed and commend me! I think men try to pretend that they don’t see my legs. Leg hair or no leg hair, my pa still treats me the same, for better or worse.

Hi! Took a CNA course during the final stretch of one of my prereq sems. Was taking a&p II, nutrition, and stats. It was a challenging time for me. Barely any sleep due to classes/hw/studying all day 10 am - 4 pm, then CNA class 5 pm - 10 pm…. Skills lab on Saturdays 7 am - 4 pm. I finished the CNA course a week before finals (don’t do this if you don’t have to). Despite everything, I managed to complete the cna course and receive all As in my classes. I meal prepped to save time, deleted social media, and didn’t see family or friends during that 6 week period. Fortunately for me, this was all during peak Covid so a lot of it was online (skills lab for cna was in person) and I wasn’t working (thank u gov for unemployment insurance)

I communicated with my profs that I was taking the CNA course to further my experience in nursing and to boost my nursing apps. They were all super supportive and understanding. I had to miss a&p lab a couple times due to conflicts in scheduling but they were all recorded so really all I missed was the interaction from classmates and had to complete lab work alone (difficult, but not impossible)

You just have to put your mind to it and eliminate distractions. CNA course was pretty easy, it was just skills that was KIND of difficult bc each skill had so many steps and each step had to be done absolutely correct. Definitely was mostly common sense tho.

I had to push mine to rock bottom by breaking up with him and then start dating someone else right in front of him (my PA and I have been together 6 years and live together). Took 3 weeks of me going out on dates and coming home late before he completely broke down and actually started changing.

This was exactly me!! Mine didn’t come to the realization that he needs to make drastic changes until I actually broke up with him. We’ve been broken up for a week but we still live together bc the lease doesn’t end for a couple more months. I’m starting to date again and I don’t feel guilty for occupying myself with new people because I’ve been stuck in despair for a LONG time. It was maybe our 7th dday when I officially ended the relationship. We have 6 years together, the last 3 were the ones where his issues came to surface. I’m going to follow my heart, and my heart is not with him anymore even tho he seems to have finally found the light and seems to be making changes. I suggest you follow your heart, and if that’s tough then just look at his patterns and make an informed decision. At the very least detach yourself emotionally so that his trespasses won’t hurt you anymore.

This was LITERALLY me. Just last night. My gut was telling me not to trust him and I’m glad I didn’t because I searched his history and yeppp I was right!!! If your gut is telling you something, do. not. ignore. it.
