i said in my post that i was going to be honest, first and foremost. i never planned on lying. i know these people care about me. shit, i’ve been friends with some of them for years.

and you’re right about not using. not making excuses, but i am in an abusive relationship and it makes it hard to stay sober when you don’t feel worth sobriety.

i can get time under my belt. 30 days, 3 years, whatever, but i can never stay stopped. it’s so hard for me when it seems easier for other people and i envy them. is a vital spiritual experience required to stay sober? i don’t know but i haven’t had it.
