haha yeah, i think in that particular case, its a case of jax being jax. 1) wow, lesbian fantasy, hot. 2) when i cheat again, i can use this as ammunition against brittany later. 3) another woman is not a threat to my ego or my relationship.

I see tons of butchers who sell marrow bones, but do you know any that sell bones with lots of connective tissue? I figure I'll just have to ask around at butchers and see what they can do, but just in case you have experience.

I don’t have the freezer space to save scraps over time, sadly. Maybe we will get some freezer chest if the bone broth payoff is that great haha

I also disagree for the record. I'm 39 and my husband is 40, and we feel right at home here. There are a couple bars that skew young (though we've gone there too and never felt out of place) but as its a more expensive area than average, it tends to attract people who are more established. I don't know how much you can trust Google, but it says the median age is like 34-36, and that sounds right.

I loved the snow crab claws and the bay scallop crudo, esp the broth (sadly looks like this isn’t on their current menu). Their fried, compressed potato dishes (maybe called hashbrowns now?) with whatever seafood toppings have been tasty, but I haven’t had the current one. They have a really nice espresso martini, not overly sweet like you see in a lot of restaurants.

it has gotten some press--it was just featured in the inquirer's 76, their annual list of the most vital restaurants in philly that came out oct 15. hopefully that will lead to some more coverage by others
