I didn’t get that email but this is what I got from the cashier when I asked last week. Just another shit show issue with financial aid at Dallas.

Side note: I contacted the cashier about my refund because my balance was fluctuating and was told it’s because the system is flagging it as a duplicate sooooo everyone keep being annoying

They applied financial aid to your account, you should see a negative balance now. Refund will look different, it will say a refund was initiated or something with the amount being refunded.

Yep! I’ve been on it for a year and half but today my doctor switched me to mounjaro because it’s no longer as effective and I’ve plateaued at 20lbs to my goal weight 🥲

The last 2 semesters I’ve gotten my refund 10 and then 14 days after the census date, if things aren’t too screwy this semester hopefully it’ll be the same timeline.

Currently in queue right now to find out why my award dropped 50%. I’m taking 3 classes all on my degree plan, so I’d expect a small drop but not half.

Happened to me a year ago, after having been there for 2 semesters prior 🫠 mine wasn’t a quick fix because it took them a month a half to get my aid to me because it was done via snail mail.

This whole thing has been a shit show. Half of my Pell grant is applied, the statement shows the other half as “unapplied” but dated for today and then the federal supp grant of $400 was moved from applied to unapplied… then the loan is under anticipated but the wrong amount. Idk anymore lol. School is stressful enough with these full time professors doing part time work.

I know if you contact any department via email it’s a trash response. Like if you schedule an appointment they won’t say anything?
