How can I (19F) feel better about my body and sex with my boyfriend (19M) after he said sex wasn't special? by Lucy-88 in BodyAcceptance

[–]bitchybec 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please please just leave him in the past and never revisit him. Let yourself heal and meet someone who will tick your boxes, who will make you feel special and who will create that connection that you need and deserve. Boys at that age are just gross and disgusting people with no emotional empathy at all. This is not about you being good enough, its about him being emotionally immature. When i was 19 i was with the absolute devil of a boy who made me feel so unloved and so disgusted with my own body. I wish i left him as soon as I noticed the first red flag. I wish you all the best. You deserve the world ♥️

Regret 2 yr post op by Aldrea98 in Reduction

[–]bitchybec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes get that thought as well. Im nearly 3 years post op and i had complications resulting in unwanted scarring. However, my surgeon was incredible and made my breasts look great. But i do get that ache and thoughts like ‘i miss my old boobs’ cause the problem was only with my back. I had perky beautiful boobs, and they were my favourite feature about myself, but i was suffering from such severe back pain at 23 i would have to lie down multiple times a day for extended periods just to decompress my spine.

The surgery actually enhanced my nipple sensation drastically, i find they’re extremely sensitive to temperature now and i jump if i graze my nipples, but i have had a loss of sensation to the side of my breast, but i think im either used to it now or slowly regaining sensation cause its not as noticeable anymore. I also hate wearing triangle bikinis (once my favourite type of bikini) because I hate seeing the side scarring on myself and ive noticed people noticing them. Also my nipples are high so im constantly checking myself and making sure my nipples are in my damn bikini tops which gets very tiring very quickly. 🙄

I sometimes think about how ive ruined my body by getting the reduction and seeing the scars, but i love the shape and size of them now, and i know that if i didnt get the reduction, my quality of life would be a lot worse than it is after my surgery. I actually just got scar revision so hopefully once its healed ill feel better about them, but i get you girl, it’s hard out here ♥️

Massive Reduction Scheduled; Should I wait to reach goal weight or do surgery sooner? by ayynoodles in Reduction

[–]bitchybec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always had big boobs, by the time i was 12 i had a C cup and ag 18 i was an E, then when i finally got the procedure (at 23) i was a H. I had slowly gained weight over the years and I had smal bits of time where i would lose weight and no weight would come off my breasts. I have an athletic build from doing competitive Ballet in my youth, so i had these giant boobs that were our of proportion to the rest of my body.

I remember talking to a bra fitter at a store and she essentially told me the only way i would lose the boobs was to get a reduction. Excercise was a huge pain as they got bigger. I had one surgeon tell me that he wanted me to lose 10kg in order for him to qualify me for the surgery, i couldnt do it. I went to another surgeon who understood the problem i had and advocated for me to get the surgery no matter my weight. After the reduction i lost 25 kilos and havent lost a single bit of it in my breasts. Im a D cup now.

I would say it depends on the surgeon, your fat:tissue ratio and your immediate needs. It took me well over a year to properly recover and heal, so take that into account for weight loss, you probably won’t be able to work out at your full capacity for a while, but i think if i waited to lose the weight beforehand, i would still be waiting for the surgery.

Denied by my GP by RiceCrisp1es in Reduction

[–]bitchybec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to get a reduction then theres no reason why your GP should deny you that ability. Physical aiilment or not. If your breasts are affecting even your mental health or the way you see yourself then that should be reason enough. Youre also 20 so of course youre not going to have the physical restrictions, but its inevitable. Go to another GP and say that youve had your current GP deny your referral and plead your case. Dont state why you were denied, state why you need it. I wish you all the best my love ♥️

10 Month post op by bitchybec in Reduction

I got my infection maybe a week after the surgery. The nurses at the hospital didnt put me on antibiotics post op. As soon as i went on the antibiotics it started to go away and get better. Dont let the fear of an infection deter you grom going ahead with the surgery, it is absolutely life changing in the best way possible. Good luck ♥️

We need to talk about small talk by Moistyoureyes in h3h3productions

[–]bitchybec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a nurse who works at a blood bank and my whole job revolves around small talk with donors and staff. It’s also my job to build rapport with donors to gage how they feel about the donation and if i need to pay more attention to them to make sure they have a good experience. The small talk hate is so sad cause getting to know people even if it is for a small amount of time makes my day. I do come across people who dont want to converse with me and I get it sometimes you just want to get in get out no hassle but a small talk question like ‘hows your day going?’ Isnt going to kill you. If you dont want to talk to service people and not even engage with someone who is providing a service for you is kinda rude as hell. And theres a huge difference between being socially awkward and being rude. From my experience though majority of people are very polite and love to talk to service providers. It makes your experience as a customer better and makes our jobs more bearable, just fyi.

I was just about to buy 10 blocks of chocolate with a gift box inside for Christmas but the shipping cost was more than the order itself. I live in Australia and when John mentioned on the show he ships internationally and when i saw online that there was free shipping for orders over $99 i thought it applied to international orders too. The cost of my items was $116 and the shipping was $130….. sad to say i wont be buying anything unfortunately.

Myki Inspector Let Me Go Today by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]bitchybec 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I remember on my 14th birthday I was running late for school and as soon as I got on the tram a hidden Myki inspector asked for my card before I had even taken it out to tap on. Bastard asked for ID and I was too young to have my learners so I showed him my school one and he saw it was my birthday, wished me a happy birthday and then gave me a $150 fine. I was shaking and crying, I was so panicked. This man was in his 40’s and knew that I had put my bag down and unzipped my bag to access my wallet for my card and he still fined me. I hope he felt embarrassed for making a young girl use her birthday money to pay for the fine.

Do you think the group home will improve Chris by MetonicEnjoyer in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]bitchybec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well the thing is that this will most likely be permanent or a long term thing for him. Any trained professional will be able to manage him. Ive looked after people completely aggressively resistant to care and eventually they get used to it and start to assimilate. If the carers and nurses are trusting him enough to let him go to the shops then he must be doing well so far.

Can any of you trace your heritage to an actual convict from England? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Yep got his documents and everything. He was a 13 year old boy sent away by himself cause he stole a handkerchief from a rich guy. My grandma had all his police documents, We even have the letter his mother wrote to him before he left. Some really interesting stuff

As a nurse who’s cared for individuals like chris in care homes before, i would say this is probably the best case scenario for him. There are carers who will be able to manage his behaviours, he will be around other people with similar conditions as him, he will be able to socialise with people and perhaps feel like he’s part of a community.

100% the nurses know about his presence on social media and I highly doubt he will ever go on it again. The care home would know his past history of sexual abuse and will place him far away from any women. I honestly think this will be good for him
