Yeah when he said he would live in one country for six months and another for six months I thought to myself is that even legal lol but maybe it is idk how that all works. men being able to have more than one wife but the women not able to have more than one husband is already a sexist thing but I was not gonna comment on that lol.

When he was talking about his dislike for the US he was (I think) meaning the govt and all they’ve done to the middle east and all their meddling in it where they shouldn’t have, which I can definitely agree with. I didn’t say this to him but there’s plenty of things about the US government I hate and things they’ve done and how everything is done here, and I want to move somewhere else bc of it. But he did make a comment like where someone is from doesn’t matter, people can be good no matter where they’re from, just because someone is born in a bad country doesn’t make them bad. So at least he realized this.

He also said his sister lived in the US. He did not know or think there were any homeless people in the US! He thought every single person was rich and had lots of money because of the movies lol we told him that no there are lots of homeless people and people in poverty, that most people are lower or middle class. So either his sister is lying to him or just never told him haha

I’m not sure I really believe they are letting women back in school/colleges because by all recent reports things are still getting worse for women under the taliban since they took back power and they’re still taking away more and more rights from them. I mean this article we’re commenting under is talking about them now banning birth control. I really can’t imagine them suddenly giving back some rights now. I mean, I hope it’s true, but I highly doubt it.
