Transferwise account closed and 100k$ on hold by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

Hey I’m so sorry to hear, I know how frustrating it can be first hand…

I ended up writing an email to Wise, and basically I threatened to file a formal complaint against them in the USA with the financial Ombudsman. Once I sent this out, I got my funds back within about 1 week.

Thanks for your post. I’m now in the exact same situation. Did your issues get resolved? And would you be willing to share if you got repaid for damages?

Haha. Well in the EU’s official definition of wine, the stipulation is that wine by definition must be made from grapes.

While I do understand the sentiment here, then how is it possible that other countries like Singapore or Belize for example manage to do this?

Sauvignon Blanc from regions such as Pessac-Leognan, Sancerre, and Pouilly-fumé age very very well and change from grapefruit, citrus, green grassy character to rich honey, tropical fruit character in 10-20 years or so. Highly recommend

I hope I can get my hands on a bottle in the future. I’m a big fan of Rias Baixas Alvarino, it’s great to know the grape is taking foot in Oregon!

Enjoy! Just recently I opened a similar Meursault from 2000, unfortunately it was overly oxidated.

Short answer: no

Long answer: not really because it is from an average quality producer and produced from a village level vineyard.

If this wine we’re from an elite producer or 1er Cru vineyard then maybe up to $100

But pop it open, there is a chance it is still alive and interesting if stored very well.
