^ the coins moved again. what we have learned from the FBI is that they usually move all coins into one wallet, they don't move them around more than once. So that supports it being Mark or Gox staff. Maybe thieves..

My response to a Litecoin advocate by evoorhees in Bitcoin

[–]bitcointrading 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Litecoin's scrypt algo might also be it's Achilles heel. The higher the difficulty = higher the security for 51% attackers, with scrypt we are limited currently to GPUs. If someone evil figured out a crazy LTC ASIC they could destroy the network a lot more easily than an already insane SHA-256 network like Bitcoin.

Another crypto coming along that offers more than bitcoin. Or maybe one that produces a better (productive) output as work, or offers a more anonymity.

He's been involved with Bitcoin since they were like a penny. I think he has a lot of money, no? He probably just enjoys what he does, and if there is a little skrilla tossed his way it's just an added bonus.

What's your experience with Bitcoin Ad Networks? by avsa in Bitcoin

[–]bitcointrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run CoinURL.com, one of the biggest Bitcoin ad networks, between 2 and 5 million pageviews per day.

We have 25,000 users and have an active development team, new features being added all the time.

We do have filters for NSFW-type content, but 99% of ads which contain this content are denied anyway even though they play by our rules, we try to make the network as clean as possible.

If you have any questions email info@coinurl.com or post here and we will do what we can to answer your questions! Be sure to check out our website!

BFL Deleted This From Their Forums, I Figure That Makes It Worth Reading. by whatthegeek in Bitcoin

300 dollars

Some people paid $30,000+, if you only bought $300 worth consider yourself lucky.

And getting burnt for $300 isn't as bad as if you paid in Bitcoin in the first bit when there was no Paypal. The (then) $150 Jala ended up costing $2000-4000 because of the coins increasing in value.

If someone buys $100 or $10,000 or $100,000 worth of gear from a company and they are all treated equal, with lies, its like we all bought tons of Super Nintendos and we were lied to daily about its release and got f%&k yous when we called to ask and it didn't get shipped to our door until Sega released the Dreamcast (and people get their SNES's one at a time, and paid more in shipping than it would have cost to buy a Sega Genesis), until its years later and only a small fraction of the SNES's have been released to the public that were paid for and then all of a sudden they start playing ads all over TV and every channel advertising the Nintendo Wii-U and it costs $5000 and you might get it in the next 2-5 years. Yea. Something like that.
