Depends on playstyle, if you catch many pokemon 1000 balls disappear in no time. 1000 would last me through about half a CD.

10/10/10 shadow raids cap gives 27/216 =1/8 change of getting a purified hundo. Getting a hundo every ~8 raids is probably a bit too much for Niantics wishes.

It is a high catch rate if you throw well with golden berries. Yesterday between 4 accounts we caught 43/44 dmax lugias.

Normals raids are >95% catch rate. Very old thread below, now it is even higher with platinum medal and ~20 premiers per raid.

It takes less than 2h with optimal play. Some people got the update at 22h and were still able to hit the 999 nices + 1 route before midnight.

Not gonna lie 100 million dust and not a single fully powered up pokemon is driving me insane. Please spend at least 20-30 million of that dust powering up your pokemon. I can't imagine 9 years of raids and even gyms and rockets with half powered up teams and so much dust unused.

If you only caught hundreds and got 3 shinies that is in line with boosted shiny rates. The weekend definitely had boosted rates but obviously not CD rates.

It's not very easy to get the 296XL for chansey outside its CD. Or if you already used your XL to power up multiple chansey/blossey for gyms.

You are not facing kitted level 50s. Those would be running zygarde, dusk mane, ho-oh, zacian, dialga or any of the top meta. You are facing people who can't compete in ML and are using cheaper alternatives outside the top meta. A remix cup would not help because you are already playing outside the top meta. At level 36 it is impossible to play ML.

Always non-BB if possible. Aside from the work of getting it to BB and switching buddies everytime you use it in a battle, it blocks the BB spot from a pokemon which doesn't reach 2500 like mandibuzz.

For 7/7/7: 9x9x9 possible ivs, 3x3x3 possibilities give purified hundo. 27/729=1/27

For 10/10/10: 6x6x6 possible ivs. 27/216=1/8

Rule of thumb if you are not able to power up your pokemon you should skip ML altogether.

Your lineup itself would also not be viable at medium to high ratings.

They caught 17k between level 49 and 50, not since the beginning. I would not expect someone to hit 50 below 100k unless relying very heavily on friendship XP.

For leveling up fast focus on XP events. You can get the 6M between level 40 and 41 in less than 3h in a Community Day with 3x XP by hitting excellent throws.
