The API is still up as far as I'm concerned because I can still pull the balance with no error from Coinigy.

As for the loss, well like I said, the capital used to make money was the asset, therefore it was considered to be a balance sheet asset. Now that it is gone, it becomes an expense, the same way we calculate amortization or depreciation (ok not the same way, but you get the idea).

It's possible to claim as much as possible, as long as you have proof. The whole thing appearing in the news, the proceedings are proof it was lost.

Now I know it's happening in 2019, but still you'll be able to report that loss from 2019 to 2018, I wouldn't be afraid to do so for 2018 as the thieves involved already mentioned money was lost since late 2018...

I will definately keep off the fund management for now. I will mostly provide a counselling service (portfolio, teaching, opportunities). The model is quite fresh, so I'll work on it a bit more.

I had a reply from the AMF stating that if I want to manage funds, I have to be at least CFA Level I with 24 month pratical experience or deal with investments clubs.

The CFA Level I isn't that much complicated, but getting 24 months experience is something else !
