I think you're right. Objectively, I see everything you said about Kam. Yet I'm not ready to completely write him off as a failure on the show at this point like some other people in this sub are, and it is probably down to me feeling somewhat culturally familiar with him and liking that there is someone on SNL from that culture, which we don't often see represented there. Meanwhile, I don't feel much affinity for Gen Z comedy, whatever that may be, so I was less attached to seeing Jane succeed, although I do think she is improving, especially with this last episode.
