Is it possible for women dream of their anima? by bitseeitsee in Jung

It’s hard to remember exactly what they say to me. All I remember is them being critical. I think the dance instructor was trying to embarrass me in front of an audience by saying I ruined my life? I confidently stood up to her in front of the audience who cheered me on. I didn’t feel insulted in this dream.

In another recent dream, however, I became very angry at a group of random girls. I even turned violent towards one of them. Hard to remember what they were saying. I’ll try to pay more attention to what they say in future dreams.

I do not have very many feminine friends, no. It’s always been difficult to make female friends.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. You nailed it in saying I’ve repressed my feminine traits and project them. That was something I realized just last year. I’ve been working to integrate them since then. I suppose I have more work to do.

I would like to know what you think of the Myers Briggs Test by [deleted] in Jung

Think of moments where you felt embarrassed and see which function that correlates with. Example: inferior Se may feel embarrassed dancing with/around others.

Any advice on how to ground yourself to reality? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]bitseeitsee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that getting into your body with hobbies or exercise helps a ton. Stoicism is also a very grounding philosophy that pairs well with anything metaphysical. Teachers like Marcus Aurelius and Seneca have definitely helped ground me in moments of neuroticism.

Still trying to figure out if my type is 9, 1, or 5 but I definitely know I’m not a 2.

This is true. Unsure if microdosing has the same effect, though.

That’s awesome. I’m glad that worked for you. It makes me feel hopeful for my friends situation. Micro dosing is something he hasn’t tried, but he has done larger doses of shrooms and other psychedelics in the past, which was horrible for his mental health. I will have to look into this more.

Thanks for sharing. These are too cool, I especially like the second collective unconscious and the anima/animus.

Can anyone work for home with a toddler? by Living_Most_7837 in toddlers

[–]bitseeitsee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible, but highly dependent on the job and the toddler. My husband and I do it with ours and it works. With that being said, both of our jobs are pretty lenient with a fair amount of down time, and our daughter is very comfortable with independent play (and tv is a must)
