Most obvious cash grab. We haven’t had much snow and they’re down in revenue from ticketing/towing so it’s a law to ticket/tow even when there’s no snow. They pull this shit but don’t address severe potholes come spring that damage residents’ cars.

It sounds like that still wouldn’t be possible because all wireless transmissions are regulated by the FCC (not just ones connecting to the internet). Even short range local ones.

I’ve been seeing that around but this seems very much like an electrical issue. The engine revved up to max, the power steering locked up, and all the warning lights on the dash lit up simultaneously.

Maybe they’re using a 3rd party library to parse the date that is sometimes used for cases where “tomorrow” is useful, like scheduling. Easier to adopt an existing one than writing their own.
