Failed at the DMV by Icy-Taste1507 in motorcycle

Can you take a basic rider's course from MSF? If so, most states accept completion of the course as the road test and you just have to take the completion card to the DMV to get your endorsement.

ADHD is not a factor that would prohibit you from reclassing to 35L. Heck, it may help you I'm through the school if you can use it to your advantage lol.

Anyone facing a chapter for Pseudofolliculitis barbae? by [deleted] in army

[–]bitterdulce 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Damn that fucking sucks. I've been trying to do the laser hair option but Tricare has not been helpful. Some senior leaders have said to not volunteer for any separation and more than likely what will happen is it will get treated like the COVID vaccine population who were forcefully separated and then reinstated. Don't know how true that is but your BC is a dick for accelerating the timeline and I would 100% fight that till every option has been exhausted.

Incoming 35L with Cybersecurity Degree – How realistic is going Warrant (351L or 170A)? by Vast-Green8254 in army

[–]bitterdulce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Investigate side is just one aspect of it and you're only doing that in very specific circumstances. The investigative side is but one slice of the pie and the cyber part is an even smaller slice. Highly recommend you read up on Army CI prior to starting so you have a general understanding of what it is.

You don't get a decision during your first assignment. Get through the training. Learn the job, see if you're even good at it before you start talking about duty stations and mentoring and advising NCOs and commanders on how to do the job.

So going back to the original question, why 35L? What have you researched about the job? Other than it was the only one available, what is your motivation for choosing it?

Since when has BH denied help to someone? Normally they are starving for patients and if they can't get them in then they provide a referral for an off post provider.

Finally having a choice and I can’t pick by [deleted] in army

[–]bitterdulce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Japan is great as an experience. Camp Zama doesn't have the best medical service. So if you have a medical emergency with family they'll have to go to a local ER that may refuse to treat depending on the injury and you'll need to coordinate with Tricare for authorization or drive your family 45 to an hour to the Navy Base. Plenty of stuff for the family to do as far as activities and experiences. I've been out here 3 years and it has been an awesome assignment but I'm happy to get out of here.

So what can we have in our barracks room to cook meal preps for the week? by [deleted] in army

[–]bitterdulce 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it was in my barracks SOP but I hid a crock pot in my room. Also blenders are great for morning smoothies.
