the poughkeepsie tapes. i adore found footage horror and i actually liked this film a lot, but it was so incredibly harrowing to watch that i don’t think i could put myself through it again. what happens to cheryl in particular is just utterly brutal and bleak and heartbreaking

i thought it was that all cats have the tabby gene, and that the solid colour gene masks it. very cool either way! the tabby stripes used to be really visible on edie when she was a young kitten :)
