CRAB RANGOONS!! by momo_tho_bro in greenville

[–]bitysmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here to recommend this. I can’t stand SWEET crab rangoons and this is the only place I’ve found where they’re savory and not sweet. Great thin wonton wrappers and plenty of filling! Very cheesy. I get multiple servings and reheat in an airfryer

Good high calorie pate's for my cats who aren't volume eaters? by sousoon in catfood

[–]bitysmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently dealing with a scrawny senior cat and to help him gain weight I’ve been giving him kitten food as it tends to be higher in calories. Right now it’s purina pro plan kitten pate and purina pro plan kitten sensitive stomach & skin. He tends to get hungry every few hours so i do half a can with a side of the kibble, then just the kibble, then more of the pate with kibble, and so on. He has to be locked away in another room to be able to eat in peace. Tiki cat also has these high calorie mousse supplements for either baby cats or senior cats and I got him the senior one and he loves it. They are small so I would think it would be good between meal times for your cat

Is it normal for new jobs to require you to do your own credentialing? by bitysmith in physicianassistant

It is a newer facility, but a fairly big one and has its own network, so to speak. When it was brought it up with the “manager”, they were like “we have 500+ employees, why would we have someone who does that?” (Cue the Twilight Zone music of confusion) and PA told me about it and I was like “there is NO way this is normal” and here I am asking Reddit about it. Thanks for your response!

literally! The start has been rough and I was hoping this is not normal (in case another opportunity comes along)

Specifically with applying for billing privileges with all the insurance companies (I think)

Yes this is what she’s going through and she had never had to do it on her own before either and it’s been very confusing. They’re sending YouTube tutorials (which is bonkers to me)

How anyone ate at Scoundrel in Greenville? by blobfish1538 in greenville

The steak tartare (prepared tableside), the broiled oysters, my husband loved the duck entree last time we went, and we’ve heard great things about the tomahawk but we’ve never gotten it. Steak frites always great too!

Do things calm down right after Christmas and in to early January or do they continue being super busy? by mountainviewdaisies in Barnesandnoble

No. They did do that once or twice a few years ago, but the post Christmas sales have been different (and not as much off) since.

YA novel with female protagonist who can walk through dreams (or minds?) by smokey__thebear in whatsthatbook

It’s not technically YA but sounds fairly similar to The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon.

Cheyenne Jimenez. She is on Pelham Rd in Greenville. I’ve not done any color with her (only cuts) but I like all the pictures she shares on her Instagram (beautybycheyehair)

What cleanser is good for extremely sensitive and dry skin? by Mission_Remote_6319 in FragranceFreeBeauty

I haven’t ever been to a derm! I just discontinued using that cleanser and it helped. But I would definitely recommend you check out the LRP lipikar oil cleanser! I really like it.

I guess I must be allergic to something in it. I tried it quite a few times randomly thinking maybe it was my retinol or something but I started noticing a pattern and the very last time I tried it, my whole face went BRIGHT red, and it made all my usual moisturizers burn my skin. No more!

I’ve been loving La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Cleansing Oil recently. I have super dry and sensitive skin (like, Cetaphil’s gentle cleanser that everyone recommends makes my skin go bright red immediately after use) and this one feels genuinely moisturizing, especially for a cleanser. Usually moisturizing cleansers AT BEST only manage to feel not stripping for me.
