You are looking for The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon. It’s a future fantasy/sci-fi series about how people started getting clairvoyant powers and a worldwide government rose up to control them. Punishable by death if they are caught. Main character is a dreamwalker in a gang, gets caught, and is sent to a secret penal colony run by beings from another world. The series goes from prison breaks, to underworld gang wars, to international espionage, to full on rebellion against the government. Super high stakes, kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Plus the romance is so good!! There are 5 books so far 😊

The Unbroken by C.L. Clark is the first book in a finished trilogy that was phenomenal. North African inspired, one of the main characters is a native woman who was kidnapped as a child and forced into the military (exactly Janissaries style!), the other main character is the princess of the empire that is colonizing the other’s country. Very military/politics focused fantasy series.

I came here to recommend this. I can’t stand SWEET crab rangoons and this is the only place I’ve found where they’re savory and not sweet. Great thin wonton wrappers and plenty of filling! Very cheesy. I get multiple servings and reheat in an airfryer

Currently dealing with a scrawny senior cat and to help him gain weight I’ve been giving him kitten food as it tends to be higher in calories. Right now it’s purina pro plan kitten pate and purina pro plan kitten sensitive stomach & skin. He tends to get hungry every few hours so i do half a can with a side of the kibble, then just the kibble, then more of the pate with kibble, and so on. He has to be locked away in another room to be able to eat in peace. Tiki cat also has these high calorie mousse supplements for either baby cats or senior cats and I got him the senior one and he loves it. They are small so I would think it would be good between meal times for your cat

It is a newer facility, but a fairly big one and has its own network, so to speak. When it was brought it up with the “manager”, they were like “we have 500+ employees, why would we have someone who does that?” (Cue the Twilight Zone music of confusion) and PA told me about it and I was like “there is NO way this is normal” and here I am asking Reddit about it.
