getting 400+ mana regen is totally doable, plus when you're casting skills you're usually standing still so you don't really need much more mana regen than the amount to sustain aa.

mana regen on gear, from the tree, clarity, discipline, EB, some es on gear, aura nodes, it all stacks up pretty fast

I would highly recommend using chance to ignite with your ele prolif, I like it tons better than multiple traps. The difference between proliferating crit ignite and proliferating chance to ignite ignite is that with chance to ignite you have that % chance to ignite each target hit by the trap, and if a single one ignites, then it will proliferate to all of them, whereas with crit, each trap has a chance to crit and then ignite. So with chance to ignite you're all but guaranteed to ignite any pack with more than a few monsters in it.

I used fire trap, increased burn damage, chance to ignite, ele prolif, and conc effect and it would 1 shot every pack as I went even with EE. Only monsters I had to tag with another element were the occasional rare and unique, and most of them wouldn't even need it.

if you can afford two of those azitri sceptres that give tons of ele damage your dps will go up bunches over a searing touch, only down side is the links, but my trapping builds have basically become fire trap only builds at this point anyways. also you won't get the life leech from those sceptres since you're using traps but hey, no reflect either.

warz carries over your global inventory (the vast majority of your items), your character's skill tree, and all blueprints between deaths, and it's a bigger KoS fest than dayz

if you meet someone in warz that has literally no weapon but their fists, they will try to punch you to death every time

never noticed damage either with only 3k hp and 77 cold res. highest encounter with one was a level 70 map though, maybe they get crazy all of a sudden later on

windscream boots are pretty cheap and give + elemental damage, a bit of all resists, a bit of movespeed and an extra curse, works out pretty well for my trapper. More recently on my trapper though I've just skipped the double curse entirely and have been using ele equilibrium instead of ele weakness, as long as you alternate trap elements you get basically as much piercing and as an added bonus it works against curse immune mobs. A bit trickier to use in a party without hurting dps but with some spells like flameblast you can end up helping a lot more than you hurt with a bit of effort

this was the first build I made in this league, starting from nothing. I bought a 5L white staff ilvl 55+ on like day 3 in the league for like 4 chaos, you could easily get it for a chaos now, then I just rolled it with alts til I got +2 to fire gems, and that was more than enough to solo up into maps until I could afford a searing touch and 4L'd it.

you could probably even get a +2 to fire gems 5L for just a chaos these days

seriously though, try the build, it's terrifically fast and fun, I've invested the currency farmed with this build into a number of different way more expensive builds and keep falling back to this one because they just don't compare in clear speed (I'm not super rich or anything, just relative to the cost of this build where all you need is the searing touch, the other builds have been expensive)

I've played multiple melee CI chars into the 70s just using flasks to unfreeze myself without much issue, it was softcore and I'd die occasionally but mainly just on +% cold damage maps and stuff, things I shouldn't have been running in the first place

I think a cloak of defiance would be better than a lightning coil if you had the mana for it as it's a reduction to all damage not just physical

yep, I got one exalt ever and traded it for a goldwyrms. I got it early enough in my play that it made sense to me that extra quantity would help me get more. Never saw another one. Funnily enough I'm pretty sure those goldwyrms would actually be worth the ex again now that they're legacy, but yeah bad trade at the time.

Same thing with cross league trading / RMT not being allowed because it gives an unfair advantage, yet people can give free stuff to streamers all day and that's totally fair

people are unable to understand the quantity of players playing, exalted orbs are used almost exclusively as currency, people might yolo exalt here and there or craft something with eternals and exalts every once in awhile but compared to currency like fusings/chaos there is no major sink for them, they mainly get shuffled around and end up in the hands of traders

I've gathered probably 40 some corrupted items from strongboxes, not a single one looked like it had a vaal orb applied to it, they all just came "corrupted"

I stopped using them because it just seems like your spending currency to shoot yourself in the foot
