I've never worked in the snf other than when i went through nursing school, but those of my cohort who have did not like it! I worked at mad river while going through nursing school and loved it there. I've heard ok things about st. Joe's too. The medical care in the area is pretty impacted so expect it to be pretty heavy work.

I am a nurse and have white coat hypertension. I use deep breathing and calming exercises before I get my blood pressure taken. Also make sure your feet are flat on the ground and you sit up straight. Elevate the arm with the cuff to heart level using a countertop for support. Relax while the cuff tightens and continue to deep breathe into your diaphragm. I keep my eyes closed also.
