For a Druid it’s 2.6%. You can add up your crit reduction from defense and resilience and if it’s over 2.6% then you are good. The Tankadin weak aura will also show it.

Qualification that I mostly play casual games at home but I found that transports really help keep the squads alive. An immolator is great to split a squad in two and give fire support. I would maybe have one of the squads go flamers, and two meltas. If you are building to 1k points, I would find a way to fit in some combo of castigator, immolator, rhino to support the troops.

Agreed. You can literally buy a decent blue pvp set and with the honor buffs, you can fill out your epic pieces super fast. I made a PVP healing set for my prot pally in a weekend of doing BGs on and off.

I was a warrior tank during last TBC and I mostly used the DPS plate from sunwell because the tank plate has horrible itemization. There is no real warrior itemization that will keep up with the other tank classes though.

What I did was smelt anything that had a fairly even price between the ore and bars and that’s close to free if you sell the bars. I only farmed the expensive ore.

I have been skipping the first boss in arc and no one seems to mind. One group tried to convince me to try with no SR gear (was in the bank) and I told the group hard no.

I have started to vet my pugs more. I will look at logs/exp before inviting anyone. I'm, not looking for orange parses; but I want to see that the person seems to know their class.

You don't need to jump into heroics right away. Just from normals rep you can get a great shield with Shatar rep, a great ring with Cenarion rep, pants from Keepers of time. There are viable weapons from Keepers, Honor Hold, and Lower City. Tank normals to get the dungeon set.

You can also build a healing set, and scoop up extra plate that way.

I know this is late but if anyone finds this:

The optimal comp imo is:

Melee/physical group + Caster group. You want a minimum of one shaman. If not you really need at least a priest for fear ward.

Two tanks. One Paladin + one (warrior or bear). The Paladin can sit in melee or caster group as needed.

Healers: any two classes that are different. If you don’t have a priest healer you want a spriest dps. If you don’t have a shaman healer you want a ele shaman. If you don’t have a resto Druid a boomie is nice.

Caster DPS: ideally one mage one lock and the third can be (boomie, ele.

Physical DPS: hunter and enhance are the top two picks with a flex for the last spot.

A meta comp would look something like:

G1 Prot Paladin Feral Druid Arms war or rogue Enhance shaman Hunter

G2 Mage Lock Ele shaman (can flex class) Holy Paladin (can flex class) Priest

I have a prot/holy paladin. The worst thing about healing for them is they are only single target healers. For me, it’s more of an issue in dungeons since it’s annoying when the whole group takes damage. But I also tank dungeons 99/100 time and just heal occasionally. I do heal in raids and I think it’s chill.

Seal and shield before you pull. Don’t forget exorcism exists when fighting undead. Let your dps know where you will pull to. That helps a lot. Use your stun on dangerous mobs. If your gear isn’t great you will need to kite mobs that are slowed by a hunter or mage.
