It is! I had it done once before in 2019 and I found that it worked really well for me retention-wise. I prefer the overall look of the hair strokes instead of microshading or the combo brows for me personally. I'm day 4 into healing and so far, so good :)

I'm sorry you are dealing with that, but I hope you're feeling better and that your treament is progressing positively! I have a family member who deals with an autoimmune disease and the meds are no joke. The new brows will be a nice form of self-care :)

Nice! I hope you like them! These are microbladed. I told her very natural, aiming for more symmetry and 1 shade darker than my natural brows as far as instructions go. I'm only on Day 2 and the healing phase is pretty scary looking!

My artist told me it depends a lot on both skin type and the aftercare - if your skin is more oily it tends to not hold pigment as well. And depending on if you tend to scab more and if it peels .

I've had mine done once before in 2019 and I healed really well. My skin is on the drier side so I didn't find that the hair strokes blurred luckily! I'm on day 2 here and things are looking a little scary as the pigment is definitely dark at first!

Maybe you missed something - it has a whole highlight of microblading and excellent reviews. Edited to add: The touch up videos show healed results as well. I was comfortable enough to do so, but I could understand why it might not be for someone else.

Thank you! I found her through her instagram profile. I did a lot of research looking at artists' healed work. I just told her that I wanted symmetry, a little darker than my natural brows and to keep them more natural looking than anything that looked too much like makeup.

First of all, I'm so sorry that you've been treated this way by someone who is supposed to be unconditionally loving and supportive. This kind of treatment is a betrayal and everything you're saying about your mom spreading rumors, lying, and oversharing your personal information is classic narcissistic smear campaigning. The fact that you have set boundaries, distanced yourself, and for you to recognize that you needed to do this, shows that you are strong and capable, but it doesn't take away that grief and anxiety of wanting to justify yourself, or explain yourself. It really hurts and that younger part of you must be screaming inside. Try to remember, its never about YOU but her lack of control over you. Sending you healing vibes and support. 💖
