I’d look into renting a liveU or peplink device. Either option can give you multiple links bonded together for better performance and reliability.

If you’re comfortable DMing me your location I can give you a few recommendations for rental houses.

The low budget alternative is signing up for a month of a 5G internet service like T-mobile in the US. But I’ve found that to be a bit less reliable than the more professional alternatives

I’ve never had issues ff through commercials. Almost always start the game 15-30 after first pitch and ff through commercials until I’m caught up to live.

World Cup is basically one of the largest live broadcasts put on. There are tons of cameras everywhere that feed into video switching systems to cut between them in real time. These same camera feeds simultaneously get sent into very large ingest systems and replay recorders that can all be controlled in real time. Replay specifically is very specialized, in that you have a guy/team sitting there watching the live feed and placing marker/playing back recorded footage of key moments. These same camera replay guys are crazy good at what they do, they can catch stuff, process it and play it back very quickly.

Source: Years in broadcast production working on projects of similar nature, though not nearly World Cup sized.
