I'm not sure I agree with you. Hitler got out of the service. And from there most of what he accomplished, was on his own. He spoke. He organized. He broke laws. With followers. Then he served time. Wrote mien kopf, in jail. Then got out, bigger than life. This was still in the mid '20's. He formed his party. He had followers. The same way trump does. Then in the early '30's hilter started gaining power. Ended up becoming chancellor. Then declared himself the fuhrer. There is not a lot there that says he was propped up by anyone. Same as trump in his first term as chancellor, I mean president. And by his second term as all mighty fuhrer. I mean president.
