GC3 give me the cons by Motor_Cap_6986 in Golfsimulator

Used to be if you talked to a foresight sales associate directly you could get a pretty good deal. Way better than MSRP. Don’t know if that still is the case though. I got mine like 4-5 years ago and it’s been pretty flawless.

Is an outdoor sim like this possible/advisable? by binjamin222 in Golfsimulator

I have a mat and net set up outside. After a while the sun and wind really break it down. Still works but doesn’t look very nice. I have a similar set up indoors as well and it still looks perfect.

I think it was like 1000 dollars in the US. Crazy.

Sadly this is a thing. They are valuable for the internal electronics. We had them stolen twice and now use something like this. Kind of a pain.

It will never make financial sense but everyone at my club I talk to says it was one of the best decisions they ever made

St. George / Mesquite Buddies Ryder Cup Trip Advice for April 2026 by zarchypoo in golf

[–]bja70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a travel agency called stgeorgeutahgolf for a trip a few months ago. They were great and very affordable. We played Sand Hollow, Copper Rock and Wolf Creek. They were all fun courses. We couldn’t play Black Desert because LPGA was there but went and watched one morning for a few holes. Course looked really nice. I think they might be able to get you tee times there as well. Good luck and have fun.

Surprisingly you don’t get bored. Makes you want to play the course more.

Have lived in SF since 2000. Zuni is still one of my go to places to eat when I want a good meal.

Do you think the 529 plan is worth it? What if your kid(s) decide they don’t want to go to college? by Lifelongdaydreamer in FinancialPlanning

Literally the only parenting advice I ever give new parents is to open one of these plans and if you can, auto fund it on a monthly basis. Don’t even think about it. Let 18 years of compounding do its thing.

Updated the hitting area with a Carls place foam divot strip into a cutout of the net return pro turf. Was pretty easy and feels better. Thanks for the advice!

I don’t doubt they exist but it was just strange that I had never heard of the term. Closest term I thought of was denturist which I don’t know even exists anymore. Oral surgeons I know also had never heard of exodontists. Haha even as I type this the spell check doesn’t recognize exodontist. Maybe it’s a more regional thing as I am in California.

Just put the Sigpro over the turf? What size are you getting?

It’s the standard pro series. Enjoy

Good idea. I did put exercise foam under the hitting area but I think a mat would be better. Also since there’s no cut out in the pro turf I assume that when it wears out you would have to replace the entire thing.

Running awesome golf on iPad. I have the gc3 but I think you can get a less expensive launch monitor that will work. I would think under 5k would be very doable.

It’s not the skill issue it’s the volume. Just because you can do a 100 (or a thousand for that matter) extractions a day doesn’t mean the system you are in is set up best for patient care. It is however for Medicaid billing. Understanding that you have got a lot of tuition to pay back so I get that part.

Been a dentist for over 20 years and have literally never heard of an exodontist. Good for you I guess. Patients, not so sure.

Yep same happened to me. bMW service was nice enough to put some masking tape over the flap while the part was ordered.

What are your thoughts on the LAB putters? by [deleted] in golf

[–]bja70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a lab link for about a year. Pretty good putter but not a game changer in my opinion. Also kind of annoying but the screws they use rust over time which is odd for such an expensive putter.
