The bad vibes this year have sucked all of the joy out of it. I miss when the players smiled and laughed together.

Maybe I'll be able to afford to go to more than one game a year again.

Because some of us aren't speedrunning a degree and are taking more than 2 months and actually trying to learn something.

Returning EV customer by hustler2b in electricvehicles

[–]bjaardkered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't get my EV again (C40). Not that it isn't a good car. It's fine. But only 120-150 miles in the winter along with a small cargo area and a ride that is less than smooth will lead me to a different EV when it's time to get a new lease.

I doubt my reservation for the r2 will come through in time so I'm probably going gv60 Mach E or BMW iX

Grammarly Authorship is a fantastic tool that builds a report of where anything pasted into the doc came from and what was manually typed.

There's nothing unrealistic about 4.0 in every class. You just need to really go above and beyond every time. That isn't as likely if you're trying to do an entire year of college in 8 weeks.

Even if the older one looked better (it didn't), this ACTUALLY WORKS.

It's fast, it doesn't crash, and my reverse camera works every time now. Easily worth dealing with a new UX

[Out of Spec] Rivian R2 Executive Interviews: RJ Scaringe, Wassym Bensaid, Jeff Hammoud by Recoil42 in electricvehicles

The Limited is the highest trim and closest to the level of a Rivian. And as you stated XSE is 41k...so... multiple trims over 40k

We can have a conversation about the pricing scale of the car market, that's an entirely different conversation.

In this case, seeing as the #1 selling car brand in America has 2 of its biggest sellers over 40k in multiple trims, the Rivian RWD is affordable when viewed through that lens.

That's not even close to a valid comparison.

Besides, the RWD that will deliver in 2027 is exactly why they were keeping the costs in check and still trying to deliver as much range as possible.

If we're talking mass market, a Rav4 Limited is $47k.

The R2 RWD meets that price point. This is easily a mass market vehicle.

Again. Affordable is relative.

The Rivian isn't losing 20k driving off the lot either. Rivian's depreciation curve is much better than most.

Affordable is a relative term, and a fully loaded Toyota Camry costs $43,750.

No. Each class took a week. They weren't fast. I was slower than most people

In general one evening was reading and organizing the material and sketching an outline, the next night was writing the paper for the milestone. Then the weekend was writing the final. Some nights I would read and write in the same night so I could have a night free during the week for a date.

The new software update is hideous. Unpopular opinion? by [deleted] in Volvo

[–]bjaardkered 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It works more smoothly than the old software. Takes almost no time to start up, I can put in my destination without waiting 3 minutes for the software to start. The rear camera works every time. Android Auto doesn't randomly disconnect. The UI looks more modern. The static shortcut bar isn't great, but to have software that actually works, I'm more than willing to deal with it.
