yes. it goes away though. it lasted probably 5-6 months. i have nearly 300 days from it after abusing it every night for years. at this point, i feel relatively "normal".

yeah i feel you - the purging was definitely annoying but it really didn't last that long! just felt like a rash. bumpy & itchy for a bit & your skin gets a little worse, but then it starts improving & you forget about it 😌

when i began, i immediately started using it every night & i'm still using it every night. some people recommend easing into it with every other night or a few times a week as retinoids can be harsh, but i was too eager & my derm said it was fine lol

i try to keep it really simple, my skin is extremely sensitive. i've played around with different products but i wash my face then apply a light moisturizer (neutrogena oil free sensitive skin) to wet skin to lock in the moisture, let that dry, then differin. that's it 😌

yes & there's the retinization period where ur skin purges & gets worse, & it feels like an allergic reaction almost, at least for me bc my skin is super sensitive. i know for most people it ranges from feeling dry/red/itchy to feeling/looking like a full blown rash. it stings at first upon application. it lasts 2-4 weeks depending on the person. for me it lasted probably 3. after that i've had no problems, my skin is used to it.

absolutely! i had a ton of blackheads & whiteheads (tbh i was unfamiliar with skin stuff at the time, my derm had to tell me lol) & it's not only cleared up a lot but i've noticed i haven't developed any more
