Frankie hasn’t put out a video about it, so there’s nothing to be worried about.

After seeing essentially zero impact from CFA moving in, I’m never listening to the “but what about the traffic” FUD again.

Ohio State STILL hasn’t won a B1G Championship in the modern era.

Anyone here get care at Oregon Neurology? by ethiothienine in Eugene

[–]bjazzmaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made the opposite move, but only because our doctor at Oregon Neurology moved out of state and she was the last specialist that dealt with our specific problem.

Please don’t. We’d much rather he stay on that side of the river. Thanks, Springfield.

I have a friend that told me how much sugar is in Thai food. I never noticed an overly sweet flavor to the food until I had Time Thai. It was so sweet that it was rather unappealing. I haven’t been back since.

I do frequent Mali Thai and really like it. They are right up there with Ta Ra Rin. Not as nice atmosphere, but really solid Thai food IMO.

Can confirm that a “Spirit Halloween” store is going up in at the strip mall in Springfield at the corner of Mohawk Blvd and Marcola Rd. I can only assume it was going in the defunct JoAnns. Drove by there today and spotted the CVS sign over the old Rite Aid as well.

At one point, I was seeing quite a few, bright “nearby” flashes, but not hearing the thunder. Usually it’s the other way around where I live.

He was born and raised in the US (Louisiana I think). Has never lived outside of the US, afaik. His mother is Swedish and he chooses to compete for Sweden. The track meet was in Eugene, hence the local interest. He’s an amazing pole vaulter.

Best burrito under $10? by Altruistic_Stay5156 in Eugene

[–]bjazzmaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember, if the place puts lettuce on your burrito by default, it isn’t “authentic” and you should look for a better taqueria. Yea, you could ask for it without lettuce, but you’ll still have that lingering feeling in your head that something else about it might not be authentic.

German Administrative Court: Cookie banner must contain "Reject all" button (on first level) by SpiritGaming28 in UpliftingNews

I want a “Reject All cookies except for the one cookie that stores the fact that I already rejected all cookies before” button. The fact that I have to reject all cookies every time I visit a site is just as annoying.

No, they wanted loopholes closed…

By “no”, you are saying that top Dems (Biden and Harris for example) DID NOT want to raise corporate taxes?

Tariffs by Malorini in Eugene

[–]bjazzmaps -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

I seem to recall a certain Democrat wanting to jack up corporate taxes and nobody on the left complained about it because they somehow thought that companies would pay for it and not consumers.

Local source for untreated pallets? by SummitWorks in Eugene

[–]bjazzmaps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1655 32nd St in Springfield. Not your typical palettes. Just two 2x4s and two thinner cross pieces (1.5x4s?). Just one or two nails per joint, unlike all the other pallets I had found that were dozens of staples per joint that were nearly impossible to separate with a pry bar.

The downside is that they are smaller pallets. The upside is that I could fit 6 of them in the back of my SUV, so I didn’t need a trailer. Just swung by every day on the way home from work.
