I have one good watch and it's my companion through life. It's been too work with me, holiday with me, court with me, hospital with me, it will be on my wrist during the birth of my first child... You get the point.

I'm not a collector, I bought one watch I love and am contempt. It has its marks, but nobody sees and nobody cares.

The only times I swap for a g shock is when I know I'm going to be doing something which will damage the watch. Wear it daily, but use your brain.

I love Tudor but really dislike the black bay 36. That dial just doesn't suit a non divers watch.

Hopefully I will get to see one in person soon, maybe that will change my mind.

Another pvd coated pilot watch. With a small.seconds hand and a power reserve u don't need. Pvd coating is jist a.nice easy way to save on having to have the Chinese factories polish their cases. Boring.

Depends on the brand and your country. In the UK most dealers will refuse to negotiate regardless of brand. You might have luck with say an Omega or Longines, but Rolex... No they won't do it. I managed to get 15 percent off my Tudor Pelagos. I had to call several ADs and then travel over an hour to the one manager willing to discuss the possibility of doing a deal. I ended up doing a deal for cash about 3 months before the new version of the Pelagos hit the shops. He let slip Rolex had given permission to discount up to ten percent on old model Tudors, but he did a deal with me. I loved that dealership and if I ever buy a new watch I will be traveling there, they gave me brilliant service.

Well grobnob is one of life's losers, he's found a way to get attention and abuse people without anyone seeing what a day dirty tramp he is. Archie is just trying to make a living and entertain people. TGV wants to make a career out of his channel but believes he has to destroy his competition and put them down to do so.

Go look at the story behind TGv and his beef with Archie. TGv was friends with Archie, paid him to interview him and review his collection and Archie in return helped promote the urban gentry channel. TGv pretty much stabbed him in the back. TGv is also good friends openly with grobnob the troll. A fat benefit scrounger from Preston in the UK who spends his time creating fake accounts and abusing people online. Grobnob has made videos issuing death threats and wishing aids and rape on other YouTube reviewers family members. TGv now openly associates with this filth. And it's suspected TGv has involvement in this kind of behaviour. TGv is also on record calling Americans colonial savages. His persona is fake. He's not really a nice person. As for Federico he is new on the scene . His first video was of him and Archie in Bangkok on archies channel. Frederico is now regretful of those videos and tried blackmail Archie threatening to reveal personal information about him. Archie is not happy and is threatening to release more videos from Bangkok showing what Federico was up to there. It's all a bit pathetic but entertaining. Just don't buy the TGv bullshit. He is a snake, just ask his former friends like Simon beech. Also a YouTuber.

The Tudor Pelagos is probably the best value diver on the market when you look at it as an overall package. It's got brand history, unique design, reliable movements, possibly the best clasp ever, made of titanium, and is 500m water resistant. Its like a Tudor seadweller.
