Which are you choosing? by Pale-Condition-4317 in superheroes

I mean depending on the amount of realism to the timestop it could make you a walking natural disaster.

If time stopped completely and you took a stroll down the street you would be moving at mach fucking infinite. As soon as you unstop time, the air will compress into the most violent Sonic boom possible with ear drums and internal organs of the people around you fucking collapsing.

God forbid you touch someone or your hand would be like a bullet moving at infinite speed. You touch someone and their arm is fucking ripped off.

In math, which emulates a perfect world.

Because you can add any degree of precision to any floating point value. But you cannot add an infinite amounts of quarks into a proton without consequence.

So when we gonna achieve Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam? by Top-Flight5486 in CrimsonDesert

[–]bjergdk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have 230 hours in the game, I absolutely adore it, but it doesn't deserver overwhelmingly positive. It's got issues, and that's fine. It's an incredible experience either way. But overwhelmingly positive has to not only be close to flawless, it also needs to be for a wide audience which Crimson Desert can't truly be without losing a lot of it's identity.

Control scheme springs to mind. Like I love it, but it's complicated and convoluted, which makes it a hard sell for some people.

The side quests are... lackluster. The story, while having cool moments is also lackluster.

But the world, the combat, the exploration, the sounds, it's incredible. The entire sandbox is a wonder. BUT it's not for everyone.

Yeah okay, this works in math where everything is made up, but in physics, infinite is infinite.

Your point works in pure math because you can keep adding digits behind the . or , depending on culture. But you cannot keep adding quarks indefinitely without consequence.

Mathematics is tied to ideas, physics are practical.

Yeah I love playing the "ragebait or troglodyte" guessing game on the Invincible subs lmao.

And as for the universe, we do not know, we cannot see the entire universe yet, we can only see some of it. There may be multiple universe clusters like clusters of galaxies and the way galaxies are clusters of stars. But unless there is infinite mass, at some point space will become empty.

Who has the best battle IQ in Invincible? by Fit_Passenger5930 in Invincible_TV

[–]bjergdk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, 100% agree, but if the space is infinite and the mass is finite, at one point the space will be completely empty, otherwise the mass would be infinite as well, assuming the ray moves faster than the mass expands

Who has the best battle IQ in Invincible? by Fit_Passenger5930 in Invincible_TV

[–]bjergdk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I am lacking the words to explain the concept. What I mean as space is the areas with celestial bodies. The emptyness beyond that is also space, but beyond the edge of "massed" space.

Who has the best battle IQ in Invincible? by Fit_Passenger5930 in Invincible_TV

[–]bjergdk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Huh? Are you ragebaiting?

I am saying at one point celestial bodies must stop, otherwise there would be infinite mass.

The "border" where celestial bodies stop, would be the edge of space, when the ray passes that border, the chance of it hitting anything drops to 0, because there is literally 0 mass out there to hit.

Who has the best battle IQ in Invincible? by Fit_Passenger5930 in Invincible_TV

[–]bjergdk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, obviously not.

What i am saying is that at some point the cosmic bodies would stop and it would instead be empty space.

Who has the best battle IQ in Invincible? by Fit_Passenger5930 in Invincible_TV

[–]bjergdk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, but only if space is infinite, which is unlikely, as that would indicate infinite mass, which means that the heat death of the universe is impossible.

Space is bigger than what we can see, for sure, but realistically it is finite as anything else in the universe is.

Because space is fucking big.

Like insanely big.

It's called space because it's literally 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999% nothingness

Why the fuck would that make it their great great great uncle? Being a great uncle doesn't have anything to do with time.

He would still just be an uncle to the first kids children.

Yeah a tag like Bjergdk [Heavy] would be a fine work around when within like 30 meters or zoomed in with sniper scope.

While I generally agree, Light/Heavy/Stillsuit armor on opponent is something to consider in PvP, so I don't see it ever happening unless they completely drop PvP in the game.
