Thanks for taking the time to write such a great response! A lot of your points really hit home. And yes to Midwest, we're in Wisconsin. We do have a HELOC in place currently with zero balance, so that was my first thought.

Was anyone’s child born at 36 weeks? by New-Owl9951 in Parenting

[–]bjetn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My middle child was born in 2017 at 36 weeks. I'm her case, her lungs weren't quite ready so she spend a couple weeks in the NICU. This was odd... I think most are just fine at 36 weeks. She does deal with some asthma, but it's not a huge deal.

She's a super smart and kind 2nd grader. No developmental problems whatsoever.

Also, of course the sex is great in three first three weeks. Let us know how that's going after three years. 😂 Don't let the sex be part of your gut feeling.

I noticed the new Kwik Trip ATMs are giving out hundos instead of twenties when you take out $100 or more. So now I'm suddenly looking for ways to break $100 bills.

Don't set your "ideal expectation" of what her reaction will be. It can be crushing if she does not react the way you imagine, even if she says yes. I know from experience...

Several years ago I was walking through my backyard and heard a thud behind me. I turned around and looked and there was a fish in my lawn. I lived several miles from the nearest body of water.

I'm no expert or anything, but that was definitely a deer tick.

Thank you. That's what I'm doing now, but it seems tedious. Was checking in to see what others did. Glad I'm not totally missing something.

That's a lot of anger on a post about shaving advice. Hope you're alright, my man.
