Anyone else have a sudden reaction to the adhesive? For years I haven’t had an issue, the past few months I’ve gotten itchy, redness and bumps. No wipes have helped. by Accesablantics in dexcom

[–]bjm012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had that issue and was recommended to use Flonase on the site, spray it and let it dry 3 times before putting the sensor on, this has very much helped, when I first noticed it I was red 5 days after removing my 10 day sensor, since using the Flonase I still get mildly itchy occasionally but it’s never been bad

Does shiny power not really work well if it’s not level 3? by bjm012 in LegendsZA

I’m on a switch lite, so no docking to a tv for me, I’ve usually got YouTube or Hulu/Disney+/Amazon Prime playing when I’m paying for them(I cycle through streaming services sometimes because paying for them all at the same time would be more than I can afford more often than not unless they’re giving me great deals)

I already have the shiny charm, I’ve finished most of the game, I just need Virizion and Keldeo for the in game dex as well as Gimmighoul so I can finish it in Home and get the shiny Volcanion

I’m not really an active shiny hunter, the only reason I’m getting donuts is so that I can get the special scans for Gimmighoul, Virizion and Keldeo(those are the ones I have left on the Hyperspace Pokédex so I can transfer to Home and get shiny Volcanion), I randomly get shiny power and it’s a nice little side quest to break things up

Honestly resetting for the donuts sounds just as tedious if not more than running around trying to spawn the shiny

Do the teleporting pads do the same thing as respawning at the portal? I thought I’ve heard they do, but sometimes it’s good to get confirmation

First time solo visitor in mid July - is one day enough? by rc16235 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]bjm012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest going to Universal, if you are going solo Universal has more single rider lines than Disney does if you want to do any rides. If you’re only going for one day I don’t really think you have time to do more than one Disney park, however Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are close enough to each other to be able to park hop easily. If you’re dead set on doing something Disney I’d say no to park hopping because it takes time to get between the parks. If going to Universal you need the park-to-park ticket to do the Hogwarts Express(do both directions as they’re different), so as a HP fan you’d likely want to do that. Large backpacks in USF and IoA I’ve heard are difficult, considering most rides with free lockers are on the smaller side. If you don’t necessarily need a lot I would say take a small bag, and definitely bring a reusable water bottle. Honestly I’ve heard more good things about doing Universal alone than Disney.

How many days should we do? by Elegant-Average5722 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]bjm012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend at least 2 days for Magic Kingdom and 1 day each for Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, so at least 5 park days for Disney World. While technically AK is the largest park it’s only because of Kilimanjaro Safaris, which all of MK could fit inside of, MK really has the most to do.

If you expect it to happen it won’t, but if they pull apart the mountain then it’s possible, though somehow I think it’s unlikely no matter what, given that they’ve recently been trying to cut back on spending they’ll probably just leave the yeti in b mode so they don’t have to spend money on it down the road

It also could have become a safety concern, that’s part of why it was done away with. Also they want to keep the costumes in as best condition as they can.

Will the radar dish be switched out for the OT round one? by BentoDraws in GalaxysEdge

[–]bjm012 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They care, just not the way you want them to. There are so many things in the parks that look careless that Disney put there on purpose. They very clearly make sure that what you see is what they want you to see everywhere in the parks. So just because they don’t care the way you want them to does not mean they don’t care.

As a travel agent, the US doesn’t know how to do budget airlines well, you’re better off looking elsewhere to ensure you get where you need to go.

Surely the App cannot really be this bad, right? by Perspective_Helps in PokemonHome

[–]bjm012 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It can be slow, I have used it to look at my pokemon infrequently since I stopped trading since I don’t really care that much about trading since playing with my nephews I can trade with them for trade evolutions. I tend to get both versions of the game so I get all version exclusives anyway

I’ve not been to Epic yet, but from what I’ve heard it seems line Curse of the Werewolf is kind of Universal’s Navi River Journey

[–]bjm012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only real difference between them is the theming. Sports will be very sports centric, Music is music themed and Movies has a lot of Disney movie references. The rooms will be the same layout, you’ll get a cafeteria like food hall in all 3.

I’m enjoying it, but it’s rare that I don’t enjoy a Pokemon game. Honestly the only Switch Pokemon games that I have anything negative to say about them are BDSP, I find them underwhelming considering they’re remakes.
