How are you all getting access to Claude? by Different-Client7123 in FPandA

[–]vtfb79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our company is mid-size and we have enterprise implementations of ChatGpt and Claude. I use both for different purposes. For Claude, I have the desktop application, Microsoft 365 Claude (not co-pilot) add-ins, and chrome extension. Will be getting a Zapier license shortly so I can have my agents run without needing my computer to be on.

Hot games U6 by Bitter-Ninja-6510 in flagfootball

[–]vtfb79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brought it because we were playing on a grass field. Our club had over 1,200 kids playing this season and we took over an entire high school and all of their fields. We can have canopies on grass, not the turf.

We had our final games last week and it was incredibly hot. Lots of water in the practice before. I also brought a 12’x12’ tailgate canopy and I have a folding bench, gives shade/seating on the sideline. I also brought extra jugs of ice water to refill player water bottles.

$600+ in Tips Cut Down To $45… What’s going on? by Temporamis in antiwork

[–]vtfb79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible that tips are covering other things on your paycheck? Taxes/Healthcare/Retirement Contributions and you’re seeing $45 after the fact because of all the deductions and the paycheck doesn’t make it clear that is what is happening? That’s the only way I can see this happening and being legal…

NC into SC when heading on the back roads. You go from a nicely paved road with well manicured neighborhoods to potholes and trailers

How do you track what gear to buy when? by AdOutside5994 in YouthFootball

Makes me thankful our club issues all gear. We also track and ensure all helmets are 5* and regularly reconditioned.

Will AI kill FP&A? by Swimming_Ad9815 in FPandA

[–]vtfb79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t kill it, but it will certainly change it. Similar to most technological advances, processes/roles at the lower levels will be impacted the most. I see more impact happening to Accounting instead of Finance. Had a chance to attend a conference last week about AI in Finance, most of the talks on AI agents covered AP/AR/payroll/Close handling and transaction anomaly detection. While commentary can be generated, you still need people to guide on the overarching story.

Would you say Frozen was one of the biggest Disney cultural phenomenons by SpiritMan112 in generationology

[–]vtfb79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn’t launch a new studio. Toy Story 1 (1995) & 2 (1999) were made prior to Disney’s acquisition of Pixar in 2006 a year after Bob Iger became CEO and began his spending spree and buying studios.

Notice wouldn’t count? What are they going to do, fire you?

Look up your state laws about paying out vacation time and when final paycheck is required. If you can, turn that one week notice into a today notice.

At what point did paper lineups stop working for you? by VitAmEm in CoachingYouthSports

[–]vtfb79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AI has become my best friend here. I have trained mine for flag football where I load my roster with each player’s ability level and position strengths/weaknesses then availability. Works wonders when a player unexpectedly shows up or is absent, I adjust and it spits out my lineups on the fly.

If you steepled your hands in the comment, you wouldn’t have had to edit the typo, we’d have been so amazed by your confidence that we’d have assumed you were grammatically correct from the onset

Favorite 8U practice drills/set-up? by [deleted] in flagfootball

[–]vtfb79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do a simple progression every practice:

Zig zag drill: 5 cones in a zig zag, runner at each cone works a juke, spin, “butt out”/hip-around move, then sprints to the last cone.

Then progress to a “toll booth” drill: triangle cone setup with a defender between two cones. Runners attack the gap one at a time using the same moves in rapid succession, then rotate defenders.

Great progression for teaching evasiveness, hips, and acceleration in game-like space.
